Do the "Kill your TV" people really think we haven't heard their tired lines before? Yes, yes, read a book and then we'll all be on the path to being as enlightened as all of you.

How about something about weight? Half of what goes into bying a tv for city dwellers is having to hoise it up the stairs.

Simpler advice:

DO NOT BUY A TV

Read a book instead. If necessary, tell yourself "I'm just waiting until the standards and devices shake themselves out. Then I'll be buying a real nice TV.
