    Estone car AM/FM/CD/MP3 player

I rarely post about specific hardware items, but the Estone AM/FM/CD/MP3 player caught my eye.  According to its brochure (pdf), it comes with a removable 20 GB USB 2.0 hard disk drive, permits you to rip your CDs in faster than real time, and permits you to record audio from your CD or radio in real time.  Using one of the many "TiVo for radio" software packages with the removable HDD, you can bring just about anything with you, including of course "podcasts."    In the tortured English often found in off-shore manufacturer ad copy (example: "A long time driving becomes a joyful journey with non-repeat music listening"), is the news that the next version will come with 802.11g.  Hmmm.  Download from your PC while parked in the garage?  The U.S. reseller is www.z-media.us. --Dennis
