BBC faces future of digital transformation

BBC director-general Mark Thompson has revealed plans to transform the organisation as a digital broadcaster and spoken of the digital future for the corporation. ¶ Nearly three thousand jobs, ten per cent of the full-time staff, will be shed in the process.
