Broadcasting & Cable is reporting that House Commerce Committee chairman Barton says that the 12/31/2008 analog cut-off date is "pretty much frozen." He's also saying he will support a means-tested subsidy for digital converter boxes to low-income analog viewers, but that's not in the current "discussion draft."
