Social networking has attracted more interest within the public media community than most other recent web developments. PC Magazine's July issue has a comprehensive article on the phenomenon, highlighting market leader MySpace.com but featuring many others as well (including -- you can't make this up -- MyDeathSpace.com and DwarfDate.com, but not Gather.com, which was the subject of an investment by Minnesota Public Radio's parent company).
