Sean Cooper thinks HD discs are DOA because of the Internet, cable on-demand, pricey hardware, and the rise of the hard drive. He's premature in drawing that conclusion, though he could have added that many people won't get true HD resolution because of where they sit in relation to their screen size (generally, too far away), leading them to wonder why they invested in something that doesn't look a whole heckuva lot better than their old DVD player.
