The comment thread after this post on Rosenblumtv was, at first, just as interesting to me as the post itself (and then it became tedious).

As Rosenblum says in that conversation "I don't watch more than a handful of channels, - I doubt anyone does." So now and in the future, a diminishing pool of people are "feeding beasts" that consumers just don't care about that much.

So while this post focuses on the imminent shrinkage of "station" staffs, beyond that it would seem there is an imminent shrinkage (if not implosion) of stations themselves.

I'm too lazy to search through the posts here and elsewhere, but what worthwhile has been written about that?
