It's amusing but understandable to read the many early pessimistic assessments of HD Radio's future -- like watching a toddler and concluding that he'll never amount to anything in business. HD Radio's architecture is flexible and features are developing. One to keep an eye on is the Electronic Program Guide capability now being tested in Boston (Link: Radioworld). This is part of a National Ass'n of Broadcaster's program called FastRoad. Here's a link describing the EPG project.
