Just checked out fwix.com, a web site that aggregates local news, sports and weather for nearly 100 U.S. cities, plus more in the U.K., Canada and Australia. You pick the city and get a local news page. The one for Spokane, for example, pulls mostly from the local paper, but also has news from the local CBS and NPR stations. The one nearest my home is Tyson’s Corner – more a neighborhood (if you can call a sprawling office and shopping area to the west of Washington, DC a neighborhood) than a city. It seems to aggregate stories for all of northern Virginia, not just TC. --Dennis
