The current number of a mainstream magazine to which I subscribe but won't identify has a short article on how to modify one of those little FM transmitters used to connect your iPod or smart phone to your car radio in order to illegally increase its range beyond Part 15 limits. Many of these operate in the spectrum below 92 MHz, so have been a problem source of interference to public radio broadcast listeners.
These modifications will be attractive to people whose conceit is that the contents of their iPod is more important to their fellow commuters than what it is they're already tuning in. --Dennis
