Big stories this week were the meltdown in media stocks, triggered, apparently, by Disney/ESPN troubles; and of course the FCC’s approval of its Procedures Public Notice relating to the upcoming (late March) incentive auction.
At the very end, I’ve inserted a must read by the Norwegian public broadcaster’s “slow TV” story that may seem odd to most you. Those who know me know me as a “Norway nut” – accepted – but this gets my pubmedia juices going, though appropriately slowly. I’ve seen parts of three of these (Hurtigruten voyage, train journey, and a knitting contest from sheep to sweater and they’re strangely mesmerizing.
